I help my clients with writing projects of every kind, from academic and admissions essays to website copy and long-form fiction. Through a question and answer process, I help them unearth what they have to say on a given topic, then guide them as they structure and revise their drafts until we're both happy with every word of the final result. We cover every facet of the writing process, from brainstorming to getting unstuck, first drafts to final comma placement. I provide extensive verbal and written feedback at every step. 

 

I particularly enjoy working with personal narratives. One client of mine, a professional ballerina, needed help explaining to a series of top-ranked graduate programs why she wanted to become a psychologist. She wound up being admitted to Stanford and is now a practicing PsyD.
